We saw in Montenapoleone Breguet’s n°5 new edition (5 with gold case and 5 platinum). Maîtres horlogers worked on this Perpetual Pocket Watch quarter repetear à toc, phase and age of the moon, for more than one year. Below, n°5 history and also original Breguet n°5 (with movement) sold by Habsburg Auction in 1991.
L’idea di affiancare importanti Cantieri navali alle più belle boutique di Montenapoleone era intrigante, ma la realizzazione dell’evento Montenapoleone Yacht Club , che termina il 22 maggio, ci ha un po’ deluso.
Yachts in Montenapoleone: the event didn’t see boats in the elegant street (of course it would have been too difficult to bring there Eileean ketch, even if we saw many years ago an Offshore Class 1 for Paul Picot Plongeur in Duomo Square) but interesting watches were shown in some boutique.

Campanilismo a parte fra le due città ci sono somiglianze caratteriali, Milano però ha solo l’Idroscalo, anche se vanta moltissime patenti nautiche (in Italia la Lombardia è al terzo posto, preceduta di poco da Liguria e Campania) e un buon numero di ufficiali di Marina, un milanese è stato comandante della mitica Vespucci.
