Basel first, Basel first… Questo è un po’ quello che abbiamo pensato in Redazione leggendo il comunicato stampa finale dell’edizione di quest’anno, mentre uno spiritello malizioso ci suggeriva anche “tutto va ben…”.
Basel first…was the first thought about Baselworld 2018 final Press Release. Crisis arrived everywhere and many reasons are beyond leaving exhibition. Last year we asked, why not to have it every two years, more for clients than for exhibitors; this year there were 2 days less. We read on web the word “arrogance”; this happens when all is going well, and it happens also at other exhibitions. New investments have been done, we’ll see in future if they were enough, but till some big independent Brands and two Groups like Swatch and LVMH will choose Baselworld, exhibition’s decline will be very very sloooow.
