A New York, nel 1875 Joseph Bulova, insieme ai figli Arde e Emily, aprì una gioielleria, ma ben presto ai gioielli affiancò anche gli orologi, importandoli sia finiti sia come componentistica dalla Svizzera e nel 1911 aprì una filiale a Bienne, diventando un’impresa dalla doppia personalità: americana e svizzera.
In New York Joseph Bulova and his sons, founded in 1875 a jewellery store and in a few years watches and components became very important in this business. Bulova watches covered half of US market, there was a subsidiary in Bienne and a factory n France (having swiss firms decided to stop movements and components shipping), movements arrived from Europe, cases were made in the States. After the II war Bulova and Stelux of Hong Kong were together; to day on 140° anniversary Bulova is moving Headquarter in New York Empire State Building and in Baselworld will show a new collection of Brands Bulova Accutron II, Bulova Accu•Swiss e Caravelle New York.
