Nel 2016 la McLaren festeggia il 50° anniversario, la prima vittoria infatti risale al 1966 e da allora si sono susseguiti Campionati del Mondo, vittorie ai Gran premi e partnership con Brand orologieri, la novità proprio in questo campo è la partnership a lungo termine annunciata da Richard Mille e la McLaren Honda.
